Health & safety

Health and safety

Week 2 of term 4, we've been talking about health and safety and how it is really important to know all this when it comes to textiles.

  • Putting all sharp objects such as Scissors, pins ect, away after use for it could be a danger to others.

  • Keep your hair tied up when using the sewing machine because it could get caught in the feed dog part of the sewing machine.

  • Always leave iron standing up, never leave it facing down because the ironing board cover could catch fire.
